In this class, we work on engaging the hamstrings. Yoga has a lot of opportunities for stretching the hamstrings, but for optimal movement in our lives, we need strong hamstrings too. The hamstrings can be used to create stability in the pelvis since they attach at the sit bones. We will use them to stabilize and generate power in the coil and spring actions of our movement in class today. This can be a challenging endeavor, but totally worth the effort! Enjoy!
