In this class, we work to create space in and around the ribcage to make more room for your breath. We also focus on the connection of the scapulae or shoulder blades onto the back ribs. The articulation of the shoulder blades on the back ribs is one of the main joints of the shoulder. In order to be strong when weight-bearing in our hands and arms, we need to have a good connection between these two parts. Once you have that, many more movements become possible.
