In this super helpful class for intermediate/advanced students, we use the imagery of an X across your back to help you find space in your movements around the mat. You'll think of magnetizing your upper arms and legs towards your back to help center them in the shoulder and hip sockets. Using the image of an X lengthening and broadening across your back can bring your awareness to places you're not maintaining neutral in your pelvis and spine and give you much more freedom in your limbs. This class and concept can be super helpful for simplifying your inversion practice.
