Step Count

In this class, we will definitely be getting our steps in. I've had the experience many times over that I look at my fitness watch after a yoga class only for it to tell me I've done a total of 1-3 minutes of exercise, according to it. In this class, I put as many stepping-like movements as possible into the sequences so that you can get more credit from your watch for the work that you do on your mat. :) Step count suggestions are used to encourage people to get a certain amount of movement in their day to help them stay healthy, we know that healthy movement can encompass so much more than stepping and we'll get both stepping and a variety of other movements today. Enjoy!

Luscious
In this class, your goal is to find a sense of lusciousness in your movement and to move with that throughout. Can you take some of the tension out of your practice and, instead, replace that with more ease and flow? I’m sure you can and that you’ll feel better for the effort. Enjoy!
