One of the big advantages of this type of yoga is the encouragement to relax the neck in a number of the poses we do on our mat. In traditional yoga, and in everyday life, we can create a lot of tension in the neck. In this class, we’ll specifically focus on poses where we work stability in the core while releasing in the neck, resulting, hopefully, in less neck tension and more freedom.
